Two weeks notice.

Our time here is nearly done. I put in my two weeks notice today at work. He takes his big exam. And two weeks from this day, he is done with school and off to the next place.

Terrifying.

I'm still in awe of how quickly the last 4 months flew by. Feels like just yesterday I was moving in with no idea what I was getting myself into. Still young, still foolish.
Not much has changed, to be honest. But what I am sure of is that I'm learning the ways of this lifestyle. I jumped in head first heart first, and I don't regret it. I've expanded myself and tore away that simple, sweet comfort zone I always relied on. I've experienced more emotions in the last 4 months than I have in the last 2 years. I'm growing, and I like it.

So here's to today..two weeks away from a bittersweet end entangled with a hopeful beginning. :)

3 months later...

I can't believe it's been three months since I updated this! Well, it's been a fascinating and enlightening journey so far. I've learned a few new things about myself, my lack of independence is shifting in the right direction and recently I've been feeling a bit empowered.

My relationship with my navyboy has had its bumps here and there, but it seems natural during the stressful months of prototype! Only a few weeks left! :) yay!

Work has been work. Met some great people along the way, and some very entertaining customers. Although, recently I've been inspired with the urge to complete my college degree. I actually miss school! The issue that has come up though is the fact that my navyboy boyfriend just got his orders and is going to be on the west coast. Talk about change of scenery! He asked me to come with him and I'd love to... But being not married complicates things for us. I hate that and when we talked about it, he said he didn't want to have to rush into it. He wants to make sure I can handle the rest of his time in the Navy. I dont have much money saved, and I want to finish school. My parents keep suggesting I go home to finish school and then see where we end up but I don't find that option appealing. Any suggestions?

Besides that, things are alright and steady. I'm stressed and relaxed all at once. Luckily, spring time is here and the weather is gorgeous! Always puts me in a good mood :)

Now to relax until I go in for work... Ahh... :)

Welcome.

This is my new blog site. I will try to keep this updated as often as I can remember but I won't make any promises.

I am currently sitting in Charleston, SC and am inside the apartment at the desk. I have the door locked because I am a scaredy cat. I wish Kyle would come home early. He's on swings week right now, and they've got him working from 11:30am to 11:30pm. It sucks! For both parties, of course.

Things here have been pretty good, and steady. I recently was hired at Barnes and Noble as a Music Seller, and work with some very friendly people. Hopefully, this job will keep me busy and making money. Also, it's cold over here, but without a trace of evidence and as of this moment, it is dark outside.

I should probably do something a little more productive, but I'm feeling really lazy. I think I'll take a quick little nap! Maybe after that I'll be inspired...[yawn]
